Terms of Service
Last updated: April 9, 2026
These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the High Sierra Lacrosse League schedule website at highsierralax.org and any related subdomains (the "Site"). The Site is operated by High Sierra Lacrosse League ("HSLL," "we," "us"), a Nevada nonprofit organization. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
What the Site is
The Site publishes schedules, standings, playoff brackets, calendar feeds, the league handbook, and related information for HSLL's high school and youth lacrosse programs. It also provides a limited score-reporting feature for league-authorized coaches and officials.
The Site is provided as a free service to the lacrosse community. HSLL does not sell anything through the Site and does not run advertising on it.
Eligibility and accounts
The public pages of the Site (schedules, standings, brackets, calendars, handbook) are open to anyone and require no account.
The score-reporting feature requires you to sign in with a Google account whose email address appears on the league's coach allowlist. There is no public sign-up. The allowlist is maintained by league administrators, and inclusion is at the league's discretion. By signing in, you represent that:
- You are the rightful owner of the Google account and email address you are using;
- You are a coach, team manager, commissioner, or other league-authorized official; and
- You are authorized by your team and the league to report final game scores on its behalf.
The league may add, remove, or change allowlist entries at any time, for any reason.
Acceptable use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or features you are not authorized to use, or attempt to bypass authentication or authorization checks;
- Submit false, intentionally inaccurate, or misleading scores, forfeits, or other game results;
- Impersonate another coach, official, team, or league;
- Use the Site to harass, defame, or harm anyone, including using audit-trail information (such as the email addresses visible in the published schedule) for any unsolicited contact, scraping, or harvesting purpose;
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise place an unreasonable load on the Site or its underlying Google Sheets data sources;
- Probe, scan, or test the Site for vulnerabilities except as part of a coordinated disclosure with the league;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its servers, or its third-party providers;
- Use the Site in violation of any applicable law or regulation, or in violation of the league's handbook and rules.
Score reporting
When you submit a final score for a game, you are making a statement of fact on behalf of the team or teams you are authorized to represent. By submitting a score you confirm that the result is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Your verified email address and the time of submission are written into the league's permanent record for that game and become publicly visible through the published schedule. By submitting a score you consent to that publication. The league may correct, override, or remove score entries at its discretion to maintain an accurate record.
Content and intellectual property
Schedule data, standings, handbook content, team rosters, and the look and feel of the Site are owned by HSLL or its licensors. The "High Sierra Lacrosse League" name and any HSLL logos are property of the league. Team names and records are league records.
You may view and print pages from the Site for personal, non-commercial use related to your involvement with HSLL. You may not copy, republish, or redistribute Site content for any commercial purpose, or in a way that suggests endorsement by the league, without the league's written permission.
Third-party services
The Site relies on third-party services to function, including Google (OAuth, Sheets, Drive) and Vercel (hosting and content delivery). Your use of those services through the Site is also subject to those providers' terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, behavior, or content of third-party services.
Disclaimers
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HSLL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that schedules, scores, standings, or any other information will be accurate, complete, or current. Schedules change. Always confirm game details with your team and the league before traveling to a game. The league's official schedule and rulings — not the Site — are the final authority.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL HSLL OR ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, BOARD MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, CONTRACTORS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
To the extent any liability cannot be disclaimed under applicable law, HSLL's total cumulative liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HSLL and its directors, officers, board members, employees, volunteers, contractors, and contributors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
Termination
The league may suspend or revoke your access to the Site's authenticated features at any time, for any reason, including by removing your email from the coach allowlist. The disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing-law sections survive termination.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washoe County, Nevada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post the revised Terms here. Material changes will take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
